Experience:
• 2+ years of experience working in Product Design.
• 2+ years of experience working on Design Systems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in product design and design systems, including scalable system thinking and proficiency in graphic design principles (hierarchy/layout, color, typography).
• Proven track record of collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers to shape new opportunities.
• Strong investment in the visual and interaction aspects of design work.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a growth mindset in improving efficiency in planning, decision-making, and pragmatic management of design debt.
• Maintain or evolve core principles in visual styles, typography, spacing, motion, and other interaction models.
• Collaborate with the communications design team to ensure the design system reflects brand identity.
• Work with designers across teams to curate new aesthetics and patterns.
• Take ownership of component design from inception to delivery, including engineering collaboration, rollout plans, usability testing, usage guidelines, and representation in design tools like Figma.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to maintain and create new components for the design library across all products (Web, iOS, & Android).
• Ensure the design system meets and exceeds standards and guidelines for accessibility.
