Role: Director of Quality Assurance will be managing 25-odd QA engineers across 8 product lines as they deliver a quality product. QAs are responsible for the overall delivery of projects to spec and on time and as such are involved in guiding the story from start to finish. QAs write acceptance criteria, guide the story through its development, align all approvals, and give the final sign off. You will strike a balance between the consumers’ intent and the business’s needs. The most valuable traits we are looking for in this role are:

· Ownership. You will own the strategy, delivery, quality, and the outcomes of the mobile development team and will be accountable for the same.

· User orientation. You must have the ability to understand business requirements and long-term vision of the product and user intent to build world class mobile Apps.

· Collaboration – Work in a cross-functional agile environment alongside developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products

· World-class innovation – Think laterally, evaluate competitive and innovative products and create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences

What you will do in this role:-

· To keep Quality Assurance cycles fast, keep bugs out of the product, and ship delightful products.
· To drive to QA automation consistently, guide the development of test framework to reduce efforts.
· To ensure that our automated test suites give us the confidence we need to ship fast without regressions.
· To introduce best in class Quality Assurance practices through QA Guild projects.
· To ensure optimum QA resource allocation across teams.
· Work closely with the developers and engineering managers to identify and clear any friction in the process and increase efficiency of the team.
· Run periodic regression cycles independent of any release cycles.

What you should have:-

· We are looking for a seasoned QA operator with experience of more than 9 years in managing teams.
· Experience of developing and implementing a quality assurance framework.
· Experience in QA automation.
· Ability to take strong technical decisions about the framework architecture.
· Experience with the agile software development framework
· BE (Comp/IT), ME (Comp/IT), MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech, MBA (preferable).
· Experiece 9-14 Years.
