Our client is working on super-personalized e-commerce. We are a well funded early-stage startup working with early customers in anticipation of a 2017 launch.

We are looking for an passionate backend software engineer who love to code and solve challenging problems in team environment. You will be responsible for the server side of our software stack. You will be working with other engineers, business stakeholders and end users. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, engineering solutions and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team during the feature design and implementation.
• Test methodology (designing the test approach) to test the feature end-to-end.
• Test plans.
• Automation framework development
• Automate new feature test cases end to end along with the feature
• Executing and maintaining automation regression tests
• Collaborating with Remote teams
• Execute multiple iterations of the test plan through regression automation suite.
• Monitor and manage continuous integration environment.
Requirements

• Have a high bar for quality of the product.
• Creative, independent, self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
• Possess good understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
• Ability to take up variety of roles in a startup environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities spanning multiple software and hardware components.
• Good knowledge of Linux and should be comfortable with shell.
Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science with 2 – 5 yr experience.
• 2+ years experience with testing “systems” products (storage, networking etc.)
