Job Description:

As a Platform Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure and privileged access management. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our organization’s critical assets, data, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Design, implement, and maintain security controls for our cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
2 Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
3 Privileged Access Management (PAM):Develop and enforce privileged access management policies and procedures to control and monitor access to critical systems and resources.
4 Implement PAM solutions to secure privileged accounts and credentials.
5 Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Conduct regular assessments and audits of our cloud security posture to identify and remediate security gaps.
6 Automate CSPM checks to ensure continuous compliance with security best practices.
7 Identity and Access Management (IAM):Manage and enhance IAM policies and roles to ensure the principle of least privilege is applied across the organization.
8 Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
9 Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan, and participate in security incident investigations and resolution.
10 Provide guidance on post-incident analysis and remediation.
11 Security Tools and Technologies: Evaluate, select, and deploy security tools and technologies that enhance our security posture.
12 Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and technologies.
13 Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and configurations.
Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.

Qualifications:

1 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2 Proven experience as a Platform Security Engineer with a focus on cloud security and privileged access management.
3 Certification in relevant security domains (e.g., CEH, CISM, AWS Certified Security) is a plus.
4 Strong knowledge of cloud service providers, security best practices, and industry standards.
5 Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks.
6 Experience 6-9 Years.
